The high speed Ø254 by 89 millimeter 115V AC axial fan is housed in die cast aluminum with thermoplastic blades. Containing long life dual ball bearings, the fan can run continuously for 67,000 hours and be mounted in any direction. Has terminal connectors and can be plugged into a standard outlet with a fan power cord, sold separately. Cooltron fans are certified by CE, UL, TUV, and RoHS; and found in various Samsung and Eaton servers and UPS systems.
The majority of fans larger than 120mm are designed to have a very high airflow. They are loud and not recommended for applications where noise is a factor. This model has a capacitor which greatly increases its speed and airflow.
This model can be found in noise tolerant applications such as server racks, industrial machinery, commercial ventilation, power generators, and more. Smaller models with a lower speed are available for quieter applications.
